A FINE PAIR OF ENGLISH PORCELAIN VASES CIRCA 1825.
Of tapering trumpet shape with gilded bands, raised on three gilded paw feet. The twin scroll and fan leaf gilded handles with amusing face mask terminals. Each vase with a painted panel of colourful flowers including cornflowers, tulips, roses & auriculas and with an apposing panel of fruit including plums, peaches grapes & strawberries. Reserved on a deep blue ground highlighted with extraordinary gilt motifs.
