A GOOD EARLY OLD SHEFFIELD PLATE SILVER TANKARD, CIRCA 1765.
This example is in great condition. Double plated with hand raised body, hinged lid with thumb plate and scroll handle with typical heart shaped end. The base is wooden and it has an engraved crest to the front.
