AN 18TH CENTURY FRENCH HEPPLEWHITE STYLE LADIES SATINWOOD WRITING TABLE. ENGLISH, GEORGE III, CIRCA 1780.
Cross banded throughout with rosewood. Of serpentine free standing form raised on cabriole legs, the top with a central crossbanded oval and with four decorative penwork roundels, a rising screen to the rear, with a fitted writing drawer to the side and a writing slide to the front both with opposing dummy drawers. Lovely quality throughout.
