Description:
A SUPERB PAIR OF FLIGHT BARR & BARR WORCESTER PORCELAIN POT POURRI BOWLS & COVERS. GEORGE III, CIRCA 1813-20.
Of exceptional quality, each with a pierced cover with a gilded flower finial over the stemmed bowl supported on three gilt winged sphinxes and raised on a triangular base. The bowls with a white pearl beaded collar and decorated with finely painted panels of English flowers within gilt cartouches reserved on a deep blue ground enriched with a continuous gilded stylised anthemion floral pattern. Height: 7.5 ins (19cms)
