Description: A Fine & Rare large George III Two Handled Cup & Cover, by Tudor & Co., circa 1765. Of circular bellied form, part fluted decoration, rope work border, scroll handles with heart shaped terminals, the pull off cover with a large cone finial a gadrooned & foliate decoration, engraved crest & motto. H:29.5cm (11.6ins). Motto: Thou Meanest Well, Family: Shaw of Sornberg, Ayrshire, Scotland.
